B-tchin': I have two degrees and can only find temporary work that is low paying and dirty. I received the most wonderful employee evaluations from my previous job but I can't seem to get hired for all my many, many attempts. I'm honest, hard working and have a very good work ethic. I don't do drugs or drank and have great hygiene. I have also been told I have a great personlity and that I am attractive. I can't figure out what's going on. I am black and live in Erie, PA. I wonder does that have anything to do woth it? Hmmm..

I cannot imagine that being black is a problem maybe you come across to strong or "not a team player" or not independent enough or maybe your qualifications or previous salary are higher than what these places offer.Why not call them and ask??.who knows But I hope soemething turns around soon for you and for the rest of this country it is getting way worse and seems to be on a whirlwind of mis managment at every angle.The other thing is so many people are looking for employment they employees there may have a cousin brother or friend looking as well and may hire those that are known to them..It seems like sometimes going to a hiring force and proving yourself to a company can make a difference in employment..best of luck in these times.
