B-tchin': My roommate refuses to clean our apartment. I've tried not saying anything and hoping she might clean (hah!), hinting that I'd like some help when I do my weekly cleaning (ignored me), telling her I wanted her to clean and reminding her every day (apparently this made her want to clean even less, although I don't see how that is possible), sitting down and explaining to her that having a clean apartment is important and that sharing a place means sharing responsibilities (she agreed... but still does nothing).
No matter what I do, this girl will not help clean anything. All I ever asked for her to do was to sweep/mop our tiny kitchen floor and wipe down the counters. It takes about half an hour to do a good job with it all. We've been living together since late September, and not ONCE has she ever helped.
I'm convinced that, if not for me, she would be living in a complete pig sty.
I am at wit's end, and her utter refusal to help keep the apartment nice is driving me crazy!
