B-tchin': So tired - watched my step-grandson for the week... why is it that men decide that as soon as you are the one at home taking care of kids, and what is obviously his grandson, kids, house, pets etc... that you are suddenly doing less work then you normally do? Why is Housewiffery such an under-ratted and much maligned job, and so under appreciated? I swear all I did was wander around in circles cleaning, picking up, changing shit machines diapers, feeding, cooking, then doing everything all over again in some big stupid fu*king circle??? Yet somehow you become useless?? Im sure that he does not believe that I have suddenly become useless... its juzt the way the whole bloody thing comes off

Staying home to raise my daugther was a difficult decision, but one i would make again in a heartbeat. she is 2, smart and beautiful, I would of missed out on all her firsts, her booboos, her wowees and her super cuteness. She is raised with my love always there, our family's values and knowing that the person always there has her genuine best intrests at heart. Thankless, yes. Wonderful in so many other ways, YES YES YES.

I do work outside the home - and work at home...just seems like being a 'housewife' is like the end rung as far as appreciation goes, I stayed home til both my kids were off to all day kindergarden - and I felt the same then as I did this last week - I know that other mothers, wifes, and anyone who has raised kids knows that motherhood - and housewiffery - is not appreciated by the large society - and gets ignored in the community as having any value...I see tremendous value in it.
